Why do some digital assets require a Memo/Tag?
For easy management or as required by the project, the platform assigns different labels/tags (Memo/Tag) to deposit addresses for some of the user's cryptocurrencies. A Memo is a unique digital string that ensures deposit address uniqueness — it appears in pair with the deposit address and corresponds to it one-to-one. When depositing, you must fill in not only the deposit address but also the memo tag.
Important Notes
When depositing, be sure to correctly fill in both the address and the tag for that cryptocurrency. If the tag is filled in incorrectly, the deposit may not arrive normally. Contact Customer Support or submit a Problem Report immediately, providing the deposited cryptocurrency, amount, the correct tag, the incorrectly entered tag, and the trading hash of that transaction. An engineer will follow up on the case.
